Korean Hemorrhagic Fever in Pediatric age

Abstract
|
|
|
Korean hemorrhagic fever is an acute systemic viral infectious disease characterized by acute renal insufficiency. The causative agent of this disease is known as the Haantan virus.
Korean hemorrhagic Fever in pediatric age usually have mild clinical course. However we had experienced a case in 14-year-old female that was required the peritoneal dialysis because of acute renal insufficiency. We report the case with the brief review of literatures.
